1. Right of withdrawal (returns for online purchases)

If you purchase as a consumer (not for business use) via our online store, you benefit from a statutory right to withdraw from the contract without providing any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods.

To exercise this right you must notify us (e.g. by email to info@asiaspicerice.ro or via our returns form) before the 14-day period expires.

After you notify withdrawal, you have 14 calendar days to return the product to us.

If we fail to inform you of your right to withdraw clearly before purchase, the withdrawal period extends to 1 year.

2. Condition of returned products

Products you return must:

• be in the same condition as received, unused, clean, intact;
• include all original packaging, labels, accessories, and invoice (when applicable).

We may refuse returns of products that show signs of use or damage not caused by transport or original defect.

3. Return costs and shipping

You (the customer) bear the cost and responsibility of return shipping and packaging for withdraw-based returns, unless we explicitly agree otherwise.

You may choose any reasonable shipping method, provided the product reaches us within the return window.

4. Refund process

Once we receive the returned goods and confirm their condition, we will refund the price paid and any standard delivery costs paid at purchase, using the same payment method used by you for the Order.

Refund will occur without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after we receive your notice of withdrawal.

If you paid extra for express or special shipping, we refund only the amount corresponding to the standard shipping method we offer.

5. Exceptions – when returns are not possible

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods, food items, or other goods which by their nature cannot be returned once delivered.

Therefore, for our shop (which sells food, spices, rice), returns under the right of withdrawal are possible only if the product remains sealed, unopened and in original condition. Once opened or perished, the product cannot be returned under withdrawal rights.

6. Defective or non-conforming products

If the product you received is defective, damaged during transport, or significantly different from its description, you have legal rights to request repair, replacement or full refund under the statutory guarantee of conformity (minimum 2 years for goods in the EU).

In that case, contact us at info@asiaspicerice.ro immediately and include photos or evidence of defect or damage.

7. How to request a return or refund

To request a return or refund:

• send an email to info@asiaspicerice.ro with your order number, products you wish to return, and reason (if due to defect or damage);
• wait for our confirmation and return instructions (address, packing requirements, shipping method);
• ship the product within 14 days of withdrawal notice (for voluntary returns), or as agreed (for defects).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Returns Policy if laws change or internal policy changes. Updated versions will be published on our website with the effective date.
